The earth’s beauty has always inspired great works in music, art, and literature. These timeless masterpieces are its progeny. Sara is a violinist and graduate from the Eastman School of Music. Elise, a graduate of the Juilliard School of Music, is a pianist. Together they make the mother daughter duo and compose music in the classical contemporary genre. They started working together when Sara completed her masters degree in violin performance at Carnegie Mellon University. At first, they started with improvisations and wrote songs with voice, piano, and violin. Eventually, it turned into them composing full orchestral scores with each playing their respective instrument. This is most noticeable in their album Time. Their music tends to be more cinematic, though they have composed a variety of works. Their latest album Night, featuring solo piano, is a collection of nine calming and introspective pieces.
