Thurs. 7/2: 7 – 9 p.m.   St Pete Eco Club Monthly Meeting

The St. Pete Eco Club gathers every month to inspire action and build solutions around the issues that matter most to our community. We focus on energy, water, food, waste, and ecology while creating space for neighbors to share ideas, learn together, and make a real impact.

 

Sun. 7/5: 9 – 11 a.m.  After the Fourth Cleanup: Upham Beach   St. Pete Eco Club, Keep Pinellas Beautiful & others
Upham Beach Park – 6850 Beach Plaza, St. Pete Beach, FL 33706. We will be set up on the beach near Paradise Grille.

Sat. 7/11: 8am start time Clean Up the Creek!  Suncoast Sierra Club, St. Pete Eco Club, City of St. Pete

Join the City of St. Pete, Suncoast Sierra Club, Campbell Park Neighborhood Association, St. Pete Eco Club and Keep Pinellas Beautiful for a fun morning of planting, restoration and cleanup. Bring yourself, a friend, some water and sun protection – they’ll have the rest! Info here.

 

Mon. 7/13: various times Surreal Nature – Salvador Dali Museum Dome

An informative session on how you can become a guardian of rainwater in your community. Learn about the importance of rainwater harvesting, sustainable practices, and how you can make a positive impact on the environment. Our expert speakers will share valuable insights and tips to help you become a rainwater guardian.

 

Mon. – Thurs 7/20 – 24: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. 2026 Youth Environmental Leadership Workshop  Keep Pinellas Beautiful
Moccasin Lake Nature Park – 2750 Park Trail Lane , Clearwater, FL 33759
The Youth Environmental Leadership Program at Moccasin Lake Nature Park is designed for High School students (rising 9th thru 12th, graduation years 2027-2030) to engage students in hands-on skill-building activities that will empower them to become environmental leaders in their community. Information and registration here

Lake Vista Recreation Center, 1401 62nd Ave S., St Pete 33705
The City of St. Petersburg’s Composting Program remains free and available to single-family residential customers located in St. Pete as a way to help residents minimize their environmental impact by turning kitchen and yard waste into usable, nutrient-rich fertilizer.
Participation in the composting program requires residents to attend an in-person educational workshop prior to obtaining their compost bin, which teaches and provides resources to help participants be more successful in their composting. Register here
